NHS Solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced Interim Leader for a key client in California. The Interim Manager of Laboratory manages day-to-day laboratory operations to ensure proper functioning of the laboratory and the quality of laboratory services. The successful candidate will foresee, plan and implement overall laboratory activities; ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of departmental operations. This role includes responsibility to ensure compliance with laboratory guidelines and policies, oversee and develop laboratory personnel training; instruct, supervise and manage technicians to conduct proper experimental practices. This is also an opportunity bring your leadership expertise to lead research projects; mentor and supervise laboratory members in executing research project tasks.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Laboratory Services experience in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, of which two (2) of those years with an emphasis on management of a Medical Laboratory
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or equivalent
- Additional state licensure as needed is required
