MODEL 1: W2 EMPLOYEE ONLY

With our traditional W2 only model, NHS Solutions charges a daily rate for the Interim Leader and the hospital pays the cost of transportation, housing and logistics. Included in this model are:

– Salary, taxes and benefits
– Drug and medical screening according to the Customer requirement.
– General and professional liability insurance coverage as defined herein.
– Reference, background and license checks.

MODEL 2: W2 EMLOYEE ALL-INCLUSIVE

In 2010, NHS Solutions expanded the traditional daily rate pricing model and introduced the all-inclusive pricing model. NHS Solutions provides a daily rate that includes the transportation, housing and logistics at cost with no markup. Our dedicated support team and operations infrastructure addresses all the needs of the interim leaders while on assignment so the hospital can remain focused on patient care. Included in this model are:

– Salary, taxes and benefits
– Drug and medical screening according to the Customer requirement.
– General and professional liability insurance coverage as defined herein.
– Reference, background and license checks.
– Temporary, furnished housing for the duration of the assignment.
– Airfare travel to and from the employee’s permanent place of residence.
– Intermediate rental car provided for local transportation.

Under both models, NHS Solutions employs all interim leaders as W2 employees of the company to fully comply with all IRS employee classification conditions and does not provide interim leaders as 1099 contractors.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:

Interim to permanent conversion

NHS Solutions provides an option to convert our interim leader to a permanent hospital employee after the initial assignment term at the same price as most permanent placement fees. This increased flexibility allows the hospital to keep all candidate options while continuing to search for a permanent solution.

Eliminate conflict of interest by separating interim and permanent searches

NHS Solutions is a specialist in interim hospital leadership. We do not provide retained or contingent permanent search. Evidence shows that search companies that provide both interim and permanent search take longer to fill a permanent position when they have an interim leader on assignment in the position. HR best practices suggest separating interim and permanent searches between two different specialist firms is the best way to eliminate this conflict of interest and reduce the time to fill a permanent position.

With no hidden fees and the all-inclusive pricing model, the hospital reduces the risk of negative budget variances. With W2 employee classification, the hospital reduces the employee classification legal exposure, worker’s compensation claims and any other liability associated with interim employee.
