NHS Solutions has an immediate need for an Interim Healthcare Leader in Regulatory Affairs. Our client in California has a great opportunity for a highly experienced Interim Director of Regulatory Affairs for an expected 3+ month term. Under the general direction of the Vice President, Quality this transformational leadership position is responsible for directing multiple aspects of the Accreditation, Licensure and Certification Program. The Director is assigned to direct, oversee and manage these programs and collaborate within the Quality Division with the Infection Prevention, Quality & Outcomes, Patient Safety and Analytics departments. This key position assists in the development and execution of organizational priorities for Accreditation, licensing, and regulatory issues, provides a link to the medical staff and clinical departments to ensure organizational wide focus. This position tracks and reports progress on results and progress toward desired outcomes; identifies gaps in current performance and strategies to achieve improvement and sustainability.

Key Qualifications:
  • MS in Nursing or Master’s degree in healthcare
  • 5 years clinical or other healthcare related experience
  • 7 years of professional experience that demonstrates a progressive leadership background
  • Experience with the following accreditation and regulatory agencies: The Joint Commission, HCFA, DHS, and CDPH
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • In depth knowledge of applicable Joint Commission, Title XXII, federal, state and county laws, codes and other applicable laws or standards
  • In depth knowledge of principles and practices of organization, administration, fiscal and people management
  • In depth knowledge of principles and practices of strategic planning, quality improvement, Lean, program evaluation, hospital administration and healthcare financial management
  • Principles of effective supervision, leadership and departmental administration practices and procedures
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

NHS Solutions seeks an experienced Interim Leader in Social Services for our client in California. Under general direction, the Manager of Social Services has direct responsibility for the daily oversight of the operations of an assigned area of responsibility in the Social Service Department, to include management of staff/resources such as the ability to hire, develop, motivate, train and discipline staff. Provides intensive case services to selected cases. Performs related duties as required. Key Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Welfare from an accredited college or university or accredited Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.
  • 5 years as a Medical Social Worker; and 1 year of which must have been in a lead/supervisory role
  • Pro-active, strong problem-solving skills
  • Well versed in CMS, Title 22 rehab, and SNF regulations
  • Skilled in working with and teaching others in helping patients & family adjust to new health conditions and decision-making
