NHS Solutions has an immediate need for an Interim Healthcare Leader in environmental services. The Interim Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of housekeeping/environmental services for all facilities, to ensure a safe, sanitary and attractive environment as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Reporting to the VP of Support Services, this Interim Director Environmental Services role is expected to be a 1 year assignment.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred
- 10 years’ progressively responsible environmental services experience, 5 of which must be in a supervisory role. Combination of years of education and experience will be considered
Key Job Roles:
- Communicate information regarding operation to management staff as needed. Establish positive working relationships with department heads to open lines of communication
- Direct and advise the Coordinators, Supervisors, and Team Leaders
- Direct services provided by outside contractors and vendors
- Establish policies, procedures, programs and budgets to assure effective housekeeping maintenance of all facilities
- Evaluate budge performance
- Participate in committees, task forces, and ad hoc groups as assigned
- Responsible for all personnel actions of supervised staff including hiring, orienting, evaluating performance, training, salary decisions and terminations
