NHS Solutions has a new opportunity in California for an Interim Pharmacy Leader. Our client is looking for an Interim Manager of Pharmacy Operations who will, under general direction, provide a leadership role in formulating policy and instituting models that promote medication safety in all aspects of the medication management process. In conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy, the role is responsible for coordinating all activities related to pharmacy operations, including but not limited to staffing, processes, standard operating procedures, metrics, inventory regulatory requirements and the medication supply.

Key Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree, or approved American Society of Health-System Pharmacist residency preferred
  • Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy
  • 1-2 years of recent hospital pharmacy experience; 1 year in management/supervisory capacity preferred
  • Possession of a valid pharmacy license to practice in California
