NHS Solutions has a new job opening for an Interim Nurse Leader with Trauma experience. The Interim Trauma Program Manager, under the general direction of the VP Acute & Emergency Services or Director of Nursing and the Trauma Services Medical Director is responsible for overseeing trauma care quality and efficient coordination of care from pre-hospital to rehabilitation/Trauma Clinic. This position provides clinical management, leadership, coordination, and operational direction for areas of responsibility. This position serves as the tactical point person for all of trauma services related to patient care, staff development, physician relationships, quality initiatives, program development, and system-wide success. This position assures evidence-based patient care by creating an environment that encourages the use of research in practice. Supervises employees and participates in selection, orientation, counseling, evaluation, and staff scheduling. This position requires knowledge and skill in professional nursing theory and practice, trauma care and trauma systems, principles of teaching and learning, and quality assurance.
