NHS Solutions has an immediate need for an Interim Nurse Manager in California. The Interim Manager Family Birth/Respiratory is responsible for the human, financial and capital resources as well as for all nursing care performed in the department. Responsibilities for the department include: develops and implements quality process improvement activities, interviews, hires, evaluates, coaches and disciplines staff in collaboration with the department director; oversees staff professional growth and development and manages capital and operational budgets within expected goals. The Interim Nurse Manager is clinically competent and able to provide indirect and direct patient care as needed depending on patient care demand and to ensure patient safety. Leads the improvement of the patient experience ensuring active involvement of patient, family members, significant others in the care planning process.
