NHS Solutions has a new opportunity for an Interim Cardiac Rehab Manager in the New England area. Job functions include:
Direct day to day operations of Cardiac Rehab, including appropriate scheduling and registration of outpatient and inpatients referred for cardiac rehab.
Develop and maintain standard operation procedures, ensure effective record keeping processes.
Maintain all equipment maintenance schedules.
Coordinate efficient and effective quality control and compliance. Adhere to conformity with all regulatory agencies.
Establish and maintain effective communication tools with physician’s offices in order to efficiently receive referrals and process reporting.
Develop and administer training program for Hospital Cardiac Rehab Department.
Develop and administer program related to Pulmonary Rehab.
Be adept to Cardiac Rehab equipment, computer operations, and trouble-shooting problems that may arise.
Oversee payroll and human resource requirements for all staff within the department.
Develop and maintain annual budgets for the department.
Responsible for patient flow. Use LEAN methodology.
Promote teamwork departmentally and inter-departmentally.
Serve as clinical contact for cardiovascular staff.
Actively participate in information system upgrades, e.g.; MEDITECH, Chargemaster, Inventory, Scheduling, and Reporting.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field
Master’s degree in related field preferred
Experience using MEDITECH
Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
