• Manage cardiology services
• Oversee and allocate available resources for efficient and effective patient care
• Provide input into patient care service decisions and ensure staff is informed and adheres to management and hospital-wide activities
• Maintain 24-hour accountability and responsibility for the implementation of hospital philosophies, goals and regulatory standards
• Lead by example, setting expectations, participating in developing plans and managing processes that measure the quality of the clinical areas
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment
